Move In/Out-Vacant Check List

KITCHEN: +clean refrigerator inside, outside: top & sides ~if can move,

clean under it

+wipe down prepared oven & racks ~outside of stove ~inside drawer,

pull out & clean floor ~clean hood & backsplash ~top of stove, eye

pans & coil/burners ~remove knobs as possible, soak them & clean

area behind them on stove ~if stovetop lifts, clean under it with

caution: THERE IS ELECTRICITY UNDER THERE!

+clean dishwasher ~inside, especially around door ~bottom of door

inside & around the gaskets ~remove any standing water or dishes or

debris ~wipe clean the outside +clean microwave inside with

HEATED WATER ONLY! ~clean outside of appliance ~if possible,

move to clean under & behind

+clean for dust & cobwebs near the ceiling, on the walls, around

fixtures & cabinets ~wipe & scrub clean cabinets inside & out ~clean

out pantry ~sweep & mop floor ~wipe/clean baseboards ~wipe off any

window sills & dust blinds

BATHROOM: +clean mirror ~clean & scrub sink & countertops ~clean cabinets

inside & out +wipe down towel & toilet paper racks +dust & clean

any closets +clean & scrub shower & glass door inside & out

~clean & scrub tub & walls ~clean & scrub soap dish areas ~wipe

down & clean tile walls +clean & scrub commode inside & out

+clean baseboards ~sweep & mop floors

THE HOUSE: +dust, clean & wipe down closet shelves ~window treatment

~blinds ~window sills ~baseboards +dust & clean ceiling fans

+check for cobwebs in corners of walls, near the ceiling & on the

walls +vacuum, sweep & mop all floor & stair areas as needed

MISCELLANEOUS: Do This If: a) At Your Discretion b) Upon request

c) If You Have Time

+clean inside windows ~window & closet tracks

+doors ~frames ~jams +sweep these areas ~porches

~patios ~decks ~basements ~garages +wipe down switch

plates & outlet covers +wipe clean light fixtures DO NOT

TAKE DOWN OR PUT LIGHT FIXTURES!

Before You Walk Out The Door, Do A Quick Walk Through: ~Pick All Equipment & Supplies ~Turn Out All The Lights ~Set The Trash Out The Back Door Or In Receptacle--WE DO NOT HAUL OFF TRASH!-- ~Lock All Outside Doors---Unless Otherwise Instructed
